RENOVATION OF RENTAL FLAT
Renovation of 1st floor flat; removal of old, pine kitchen, cooker and sink, glass and timber screen, wall cupboards and shelving. Advice on planning new kitchen and installation of units, sink and appliances. Tiling and grouting of kitchen area. Painting and decorating throughout.

GREAT JOB.
We asked Andrew to paint and decorate my mum's garden room. From start to finish the process was straight forward and the standard of the work was perfect. We didn't have to wait long between getting the quotation and Andrew starting the job. He was also kind enough to recommend a floor specialist that we used and we were extremely pleased with. Andrew is kind, friendly and did a great job, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend him or his services.

SUITABLE FOR HOMEWORKERS
Andrew completed the work so quickly which included stair banister, bathroom ceiling and kitchen repaint and to a brilliant standard. If I'd have been working I honestly wouldn't have known Andrew was there as he worked away so quietly which is brilliant if you are a home worker and dubious about getting someone in to do some work. It was a great feeling also being able to pop out to a couple of appointments whilst he was working, as some contractors I wouldn't dream of leaving nor feel completely comfortable being a female on her own, so thank you very much.

I contacted Meredith Home Improvements as I wanted coving and a dado rail fitted. In the end Andrew did the coving, dado rail, painting the walls and ceiling and also took the bedroom door off to fix for me as it had never shut properly. He was also able to re-seal the shower tray too. I couldn't have been more pleased with the way in which he worked and with the finished job! I would definitely recommend and call him back again when the need arises. Thank you Andrew.

We used Meredith Home Improvements & Decorating to refresh our rented property. We cannot be happier with the service Andrew and Hilary provided from the beginning to the end. Pricing was fair, clear and flexible. Decorating job was thorough and meticulous. Frequent updates on progress made us feel stress-free. They even did some additional repair jobs for the house at reasonable costs. Due to our tight budget, we couldn’t ask them to complete all the jobs needed, but they came up with practical and cost-saving advice. Andrew also introduced us to other trustworthy trade people. Andrew was recommended by a neighbour to decorate our lounge. He listened carefully to our requirements and offered advice which was not automatically the most expensive way of achieving a satisfactory result. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING
I had moved into an old property which required A LOT of work / renovations. I had many builders visit and carry out jobs to a poor standard and quality.
I was at breaking point but that is when I stumbled across the Meredith home improvements and decorating team.
They were professional, clean, took pride in their work and had explained the work which will be carried out in depth.
The quote discussed was emailed to me also so we were all on the same page. The deadlines were also met.
I would highly recommend as they actually take pride in their work and give suggestions on money saving tips and also additional improvements. I will be using them again and have recommended to friends and family.

Meredith Home Improvements and Decorating have done numerous jobs for me over the last ten years. As a single woman, I appreciate having someone trustworthy to turn to when jobs crop up around the house.
Two major projects for which I was particularly pleased were the decoration of my living room, hall and stairs and the upgrading of my kitchen. All the work was to a very high standard. I didn’t want a complete kitchen renovation and Andrew and Hilary worked with me in deciding what to do. They renewed worktops, the sink, a cupboard with useful new fitments plus applied new wallpaper and paint. I felt that I had had a new kitchen but at the fraction of the cost!

Andrew and Hilary have carried out a wide range of jobs for me over the past three years. I have always found their work is thorough and includes a good clean up when they have finished. Tasks they have completed include painting and wallpapering; plastering; grouting an replacing worn out sealant in the bathroom; fixing a bathroom door that had become stuck; fitting new taps and helping me assemble flat pack furniture.
Hilary works with the customer to gain a full understanding of requirements, and will offer suggestions that you probably haven't thought of. She is extremely thorough in her work. Andrew has a breadth of home improvement skills, and good contacts for the few things which he doesn't do himself. He is persistent in working out a solution to situations he hasn't come across before.
Andrew and Hilary have carried out most of the work in a major refurbishment on my flat whilst I was living there, never leaving things in a state overnight. But don't think of them only if you have a big job: I can honestly say that no job is too small.
You have Jacks of all trades here, and masters of them too. I can't recommend them strongly enough.
